About Me

I have been painting for about 15 years, making reproduction signs for 3 years. I am married to a former folk art dealer, I have one daughter, a son-in-law and a granddaughter, two rescue dogs (dachshund and German shepherd), a flock of free range pet bantam chickens and a bunch of fish in the pond.

I live on the top of a mountain in northern Pennsylvania near Elmira, NY. We have 25 acres with a ranch house and workshop-garage on a dirt road 7 miles from the nearest post office. It is a quiet and friendly area. We sometimes just look out and watch the trees grow.

My paintings often have a guy in a boat fishing or in winter he is ice fishing. He and a great blue heron just seem to turn up in my paintings.

I am a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in liberal arts. I have also studied locksmithing, clowning, balloon sculpture, writing, tarot card reading and whatever else that comes along and interests me.

We have no fax, no 800 numbers and my cell phone is only used when I'm away from home. We try to keep life slow and hassle free. I have 3 speeds- slow, stop and reverse. I don't need to rush into anything.........
